BMW will market its first electric sedan in 2021, the i4. The car is announced today, despite a camouflage, with a definitive style close to the Series 4.
2021 will be busy for BMW, which is preparing to launch new electric cars. After an iX3 which is only the beginning, the brand will now focus on the i4 sedan, which will be marketed in the coming months. The manufacturer unveils a series of images reminding us that the Bavarian brand is always focused on driving pleasure and sliding.
BMW says it's the first 'sports DNA' car for purely electric driving. There had been a BMW "developed from scratch", but it was not frankly sporty (i3).
Today is the time for the end of development with final road tests before the market launch for the i4, which will benefit from a redesigned Munich factory to accommodate these battery-powered cars.
BMW is taking advantage of this teaser in images to confirm some data: the i4 develops 530 hp in its most powerful version. A first range figure is also announced: 600 km. Obviously, we suspect that this is the most expensive variant of the range. The i4 will quickly bring other electric vehicles to BMW, such as the iX SUV and variations of models already in the catalog.
