When will Gran Turismo 7 arrive As with every release of an opus in the saga, it's a guessing game. But what we already know is that the Japanese development studio is promising a return to basics, namely Gran Turismo 1 and 4.
After a confusing Gran Turismo Sport for the fans of the mythical saga, the development studio is planning a return to basics. In any case, this is what Kazunori Yamauchi, the historic boss of Polyphony Digital, said: "With Gran Turismo 7, we are taking up elements that we highlighted in Gran Turismo Sport, such as the championships, while returning to a traditional large-scale experience like in Gran Turismo 1 and 4".
The problem, as always with Gran Turismo, is the release date. The day could come out in 2021... if all goes well. But a first postponement has already been scheduled: Gran Turismo 7 should logically be released in the first half. Finally, it will be rather towards the end of the year, and probably with the approach of the holidays.
Gran Turismo 7 will be a return to basics
Despite the popularity of the title, Sony and Polyphony Digital have no room for error with Gran Turismo 7. Firstly because it will be one of the flagships of the PS5, but also because the saga is increasingly criticized: it rests too much on its laurels and does not progress enough in recurring areas such as sound quality. Visually, we expect 4k at 60 frames per second and effects like Ray Tracing.
See you, we hope, by the end of the year to once again make an endless garage on Gran Turismo 7.
