Commercial success, carried out in particular by the hybrid declination, the Hyundai Kona has just been restyled.But the beginnings of the new model seem to be disturbed by a big concern for reliability.In question: the DCT double clutch automatic transmission.

A page has been opened on our forum and testimonies about these problems are increasing.A member evokes a breakdown after only 400 km with speeds "which no longer pass".And the concern does not seem to be limited to hybrids, since a member with a Kona Diesel bought in December broke down in January.
Contacted, Hyundai was not very talkative.The brand acknowledges that there have been some DCT box concerns on the Kona Hybrid ".The manufacturer tells us that it is "in investigation to know if it is isolated cases or if there is a need for a reminder".
However, the number of cases seems important.According to our reader, who had already carried out his small investigation, 140 vehicles would be immobilized in France because of this defect.And the network mechanics do not yet have the solution.
