Orders for the classic finishes of the plug-in hybrid Wrangler will open on May 15 in France.
Launched with special series, the Wrangler 4xe is now available with "classic" finishes. But it hardly becomes more accessible! The First Edition launch version was €71,700, the entry-level Sahara is displayed at €68,200. We therefore remain well above the €50,000 mark which could have allowed a bonus.
Fortunately, at this price, the equipment is already generous. The Sahara comes as standard with the 8.4-inch touchscreen navigation system, the premium Alpine audio system, blind spot monitoring, reversing camera, dual-zone auto air conditioning, front/rear parking radars and even the keyless entry-start.
The Overland finish, at €71,450, is luxurious with automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, leather upholstery and heated seats/steering wheel.
The Rubicon model, at €69,700, is cut out for the most adventurous. Based on the Sahara model, it adds side protection bars, front camera, electronic disengagement front stabilizer bar, front/rear differential lock. It also has a more advanced all-wheel drive.
The Wrangler 4xe is equipped with a 2.0 inline four-cylinder coupled to an electric block, all developing up to 380 hp and 637 Nm of torque. The range in 100% electric mode is up to 53 km.
Prices include the new "Jeep Wave" program, which offers two years of maintenance and 24/7 roadside assistance.
