Kia announces a new offer for its new electric customers: the KiaCharge Plus and Ionity Power offered for one year, which gives access to the entire network of terminals, classic or fast, at preferential rates.
Anyone can connect to an Ionity terminal, but without a subscription to one of the partner brands of the consortium behind the project, it will be full price: €0.79 per minute. Manufacturers who have joined Ionity from the start, or over time, such as the Korean group Hyundai, can offer subscriptions to their customers that reduce this rate per minute.
This is the case at Kia, which announces a small offer: KiaCharge Plus and Ionity Power subscriptions offered to any customer of a new electric, e-Soul or e-Niro. There is however one condition, and not the least: order between May 19 and June 30, and have it delivered before July 31. This risks drastically reducing the number of eligible candidates.
KiaCharge Plus provides access to traditional public terminals: 200,000 in Europe, and around 21,000 in France. With this subscription, the charging price is 15% lower than with classic access. Ionity Power can be recharged at Ionity terminals at the rate of €0.29/min instead of the standard rate of 79 cents.
