Last year, the English manufacturer AC revived the Cobra with electric sauce. The small craftsman continues his adventure with two new models, including one inspired by the current Cobra Superblower.
AC evokes a path of resurrection and return. The English manufacturer is taking advantage of this new fashion for retrofitting old cars to find new customers. The attire of the 60s, but the guts of the 2020s. After launching a first electric AC Cobra, the brand announces its "Series 4", which pays homage to the AC Cobra 378 Superblower. But instead of the V8, it's an electric motor.
Two variants are marketed: a first of 312 hp, which only displays 1190 kg on the scale, and a range of 305 km. The second is much more radical since it develops 625 hp and weighs only 1240 kg. The 0 to 100 is crossed in 3.8 seconds and autonomy is announced at 260 km. The respective rates are €172,000 and €195,000. AC also offers a wide range of color combinations.
And for those who don't want to take the plunge yet, there is still the Cobra Superblower with its compressed 6.2 V8 of 660 hp and 880 Nm, sold for €161,000.
