They are still rare on the road, but in sales, they are progressing. We are obviously talking about plug-in vehicles, whether hybrid or 100% electric. L'Avere reveals interesting figures on electric mobility in France and Europe: "in April 2021, electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles won 12% market share, this is the sixth consecutive month in which plug-in electrified models represent more than 10% of registrations", comments the general delegate of Avere.
Unsurprisingly, it is largely businesses that are driving this growth. 75% of registrations of plug-in hybrids are legal persons, while the mix on electrics is more balanced, around 50/50 between individuals and companies. The Peugeot 3008 plug-in hybrid is the best seller last month ahead of the Mercedes GLC, while the Peugeot e-208 is ahead of the Renault Zoe in electrics.
French owners of rechargeable cars who are not the most to be pitied: there are on average 12 cars for a terminal in France, against 24 in Norway.
