From this December 21, the left road on the M6 and M7 (ex-A6 and ex-7) is reserved for vehicles transporting at least two people and the vehicles Crit'Air 0.
Did you know it?Access to Lyon in the north and south is no longer done by the A6 and A7 but by the M6 and M7.Highways have been downgraded and have become urban boulevards, with reduction in speed limitation to 70 km/h.
On these axes, a new development comes into service this Monday, December 21: a path dedicated to carpooling and clean vehicles. It is therefore necessary to be at least two in the car or have a model with a green crick'Air sticker. The way will also be open to taxis.
The carpooling routes are located on the left of the roadway, in both directions of traffic. For the M6, north of Lyon, it goes from the custody interchange (Dardilly, exit n ° 33) to that of Valvert (Tassin-la-Demi-Lune, exit n ° 36).To the south, for the M7, it is the blessed stone interchange and that of confluence. The passage in the center of Lyon, in particular the Fourvière tunnel, is not concerned.
The way is indicated by a pictogram, a white diamond on a black background. It is activated during the week, from Sunday evening midnight to Friday evening midnight. It will be deactivated in the event of an accident on the other tracks.
Along the route, carpooling areas have been set up to help take passengers.
