The Audi A6 and A7 follow the Q5 range with the adoption of a much more generous lithium battery on the rechargeable hybrid versions, which now claim a little more than 70 km of autonomy in electric mode.
Audi continues to update its range of hybrids: after the Q5 and Q5 Sportback hybrid rechargeable, it is the turn of the A6 and A7 with the same engines to follow the trend. The German brand has replaced the 14.1 kWh battery against a unit of 17.9 kWh which obviously increases autonomy in electric mode.
On the two sedans, it goes to more than 70 km having eggs under the feet and in excellent conditions.Be careful however: the presence of batteries significantly reduces the loading volume of the trunk. On the Audi A6 before, it falls at 405 liters, or more or less the volume...of a Renault Clio 5.It is 160 liters less than on an A6 front with classic heat engine.Recall that these batteries can be loaded by alternating up to 7.4 kW.
Like the hybrid Q5, the A6 and A7 are available in two versions. The first, the 50 TFSI, combines the four -cylinder 2.0 turbo to an electric motor with 299 hp and 450 Nm key.The more powerful 55 tfsi e version takes up the same configuration, but in a more powerful formula of 367 hp.
