A little less than six years from its release, Volkswagen is (already) giving a small preview of the Trinity project, this high-end electric sedan that intends to revolutionize charging and driving technologies.
The Phaeton had not been a great success for Volkswagen. The large luxury sedan had required significant investment for a much too high price and disappointing sales figures. Why are we talking about the Phaeton? Quite simply because Volkswaegn seems to want to do it again with Project Trinity.
Announced recently, this is actually a high-end, electric and technologically advanced vehicle project. Only here, it will be necessary to wait until 2026 to discover it in dealership and take advantage of its level 4 autonomous driving (totally autonomous driving), and promises of great progress in terms of batteries and recharging.
6 years, it's not tomorrow, but Volkswagen is already unveiling a first image of the long luxury sedan. The German brand is however clever since it specifies that at the exit, the car will simply be level 2+ of autonomy but that its on-board equipment will then allow it to be in level 4. Of which note.
