Retrofuture, a French company specializing in the electric conversion of old vehicles, adds a new rope to its bow: the Peugeot 504.
Rev (Retrofuture Electric Vehicle) was founded in 2019 in France. This company, specialized in the conversion of old vehicles to electric, is a creation of a character already firmly rooted in electric mobility: Arnaud Pigounides, who has several caps, since he is also co-chairman of the area, (players in the electric Retrofit industry).
Retrofuture has a catalogue divided into several categories: small cars, pleasure vehicles, utility vehicles and performance. Each time, the client can choose two types of configuration. The first with a base vehicle already acquired, and the second by letting Retrofuture look for and buy the donor car.
The Retrofuture catalogue now houses the Peugeot 504. The conversion figures are as follows: 82 HP engine, 30 kWh battery and 165 km range. If the donor vehicle is supplied by the customer, only the conversion is charged (20,000 €). But if the customer wants to let Retrofuture do it completely, you have to add the purchase of a 504 coupé, which raises the bill to 32,000 €, excluding possible options.
Retrofuture also recalls that it is possible to benefit from public aid, up to €6000, for the conversion of a vehicle.
