The large Spanish SUV gains the 245 hp 2.0 TSI petrol block, exclusively associated with the automatic transmission and 4Drive four-wheel drive. Unfortunately, and because of the malus, this version will not be sold in France.
For those who want punch but without hybridization, there is only the 200 hp 2.0 TDI in the range of the large Tarraco SUV. But Seat announces the arrival of a much more powerful engine, in this case the 2.0 TSI of 245 hp found on many models of the Volkswagen group, from the Skoda Octavia RS to the Volkwagen Golf GTI.
An engine that is, on the Tarraco, exclusively associated with the 4Drive all-wheel drive and automatic transmission. With its 370 Nm available between 1600 and 4300 rpm, it should give a nice extension to a fairly heavy vehicle which, in the end, will be much more comfortable with this block than with the 1.5 TSI of 150 hp, a little "just" when the Tarraco embarks the small family and the suitcases.
However, this version should not sell much, since its CO2 emissions are around 200 g/km. In France, this corresponds to a penalty of more than €11,000, and Seat confirms that this variant will not see the light of day in France.
