TotalEnergies, which recently changed its identity, won the tender to double the number of charging stations in Amsterdam. A total of 2,200 terminals will be installed.
TotalEnergies continues on its green path. The tanker, which for more than a year has been trying to change its image by diversifying its activities, won a major tender in the Netherlands. The French giant will indeed double the number of charging stations for electric vehicles in Amsterdam. The favorite city of cyclists, which has already largely hunted thermal vehicles, has set itself the goal of being zero emissions in all transport by 2030.
2,200 terminals will be installed by TotalEnergies in Amsterdam. The French manufacturer is also quite involved in France in the establishment of the charging network for rechargeable vehicles, since it is targeting 20,000 terminals out of the 100,000 planned by the State.
By 2025, TotalEnergie plans to operate some 150,000 charging points, mainly in major cities. But the company does not specify the specificity of the terminals, and in particular their power. In France, the vast majority of terminals are of low or medium power (less than 50 kW).
