Toyota continues its partnership with the Japanese JBL by launching an eponymous special edition on the Corolla sedan and Touring Sports station wagon. The finish is available on the two hybrid engines.
It's a partnership that has lasted since the mid-1990s and continues today on the Corolla, one of Toyota's flagship products in Europe. In France, it even represented 17% of Toyota sales with 15,000 registrations. The Japanese manufacturer indeed announces a special series “JBL” on its compact, unveiled on June 21, music festival day.
500 copies (250 sedans and 250 station wagons) will be produced. This special series stands out with its exclusive two-tone "Manhattan" gray color, with the "JBL Edition" badge. It takes the Design finish, with 17-inch rims, and adds, unsurprisingly, a complete JBL audio system with 8 specific speakers. The only small additional gain in equipment is the presence of the induction smartphone charger.
Offered both as a station wagon and a sedan, but also as a 122 or 184 hp hybrid, the JBL special series starts at €31,250 for the sedan and €34,250 for the station wagon.
